I'm the photographer and filmmaker behind Oliver Whillock Visuals, and I've been hooked on cameras since I was 15 and carrying a film SLR around in my lunch bag. A lot has changed since then!

Originally from Surrey, I moved to Dorset in 2016. My love of photography really grew while I was studying at The Academy of Contemporary Music, photographing fellow performers and trying to capture who they were, not just how they looked. Things properly took off just before the pandemic, and I owe a lot of that to my wife, Madeleine, who kept pushing me further. My competitive streak did the rest.

These days I shoot weddings, portraits and commercial work, in both photo and film. I keep things relaxed, give you enough direction that you're never wondering what to do with your hands, then step back and let the real moments happen.

I'm an optimist who gets excited about pretty much anything, from exploring somewhere new to finding the perfect space-saving hangers for my favourite T-shirts. Most of all, I love telling stories through pictures. That's how I ended up falling for weddings.
